Most People Want Organic Food, But What Does Organic Really Mean?

Last week, we covered what GMOs are and why they should be labeled, but we haven’t spent much time talking about what the organic label really means and what the standards are for labeling. Here are the benefits of eating organic:

  • You ingest fewer pesticides.
  • In animals, you are exposed to fewer antibiotics.
  • You can more easily avoid GMOs.
  • Easier on the environment.
