Everyone: This article does a real dis-service to consumers who don’t want to consume pesticides & herbicides and here’s why: Many toxic substances poured on American soil and American crops invade the entire plant, down to the cellular level, so you CAN’T just wash them off. No question, washing vegetables and fruit is wise, and should be done. But it’s just plain wrong to think you can wash Monsanto’s pesticides and herbicides like Round-up (main ingredient is Glyphosate) off the fruits and vegetables. They’ve invaded the produce on the cellular level, and thus, it can’t just be washed off the surface of the fruit or vegetable. The best solution is to buy and consume ORGANIC produce, and you should still wash the organic produce with a non-toxic veggie wash. Thanks for listening.
