Every year around fall, an army of pharmacists and physicians, backed-up by the government and media, goes on a mission to inoculate as many people as possible with the seasonal flu or influenza shot. While they claim that those who refuse the flu shot are putting their own health and that of others at risk, the flu shot isn’t as innocent and lifesaving as we have been led to believe.
Despite numerous emerging reports that reveal a long list of toxic effects associated with the flu vaccine, public health seems to be of minor importance. Vaccines contain many toxic ingredients such as MSG (monosodium glutamate), thimerosal (mercury), formaldehyde and many other harmful chemicals that unnecessarily weaken our natural defense mechanisms.
It is no longer a secret that the same officials who push these toxic vaccines on the public are all deeply invested in the pharmaceutical companies that make these shots. The only people who are served by having annual flu shots are these money-hungry criminals.
Time to rely on your own body
If poisoning people isn’t bad enough already, flu shots are actually unnecessary. As reported by Mike Adams, aka the Health Ranger, and Dr. Scott Graves, flu shots only work for people who don’t need them.
Immunocompromised people would indeed benefit from a flu shot if only these people had the ability to build antibodies in response to the vaccine. On the other hand, individuals with strong immune systems can easily fight influenza without a vaccine.
Writing for Natural Blaze, Dr. Scott Graves explained that a number of things, such as refined sugar, dairy or GM foods, can compromise the immune system and make you more vulnerable to an influenza infection.
“The problem is not the pathogen, it is the terrain in which those pathogens interact. If the body is strong it can defend itself just fine in most cases,” he said.
Furthermore, he added that flu shots are designed to fight influenza strains from the year before; meaning they will not necessarily protect you from this year’s strain.
What to do instead
Rather than putting your health into the hands of money-hungry pharmaceutical companies, rely on natural alternatives to strengthen your body instead.
Up your vitamin C levels
Whether you are on a mission to prevent or combat the flu, upping your vitamin C level is one of the most important things to do. It supercharges your immune system to prevent infections, and significantly reduces the severity and duration of a cold or flu infection.
Rid the body of inflammation
As reported by Natural Blaze, many of our modern diseases are caused by chronic inflammation, which makes defending acute episodes of a cold or flu much more challenging.

As mentioned above, it is not the pathogen but the state of your body that matters most. If we strengthen the body and immune system, we take away the opportunity for the virus to thrive and make us sick.
De-stress your lifestyle
Stress is one of the main culprits of a compromised or weakened immune system. As stated by Dr. Graves, learning how to let go of negative emotions and managing stress levels are the most powerful things to do to prevent and fight the common cold or flu.
Keep your body clean and your immune system strong
Certain foods – such as sugar – can lower immune function by up to 40 to 50 percent for 24 hours. With most of us consuming sugar on a daily basis while trying to combat chronic inflammation, Dr. Scott said that our immune systems are functioning well below 50 percent. A flu shot isn’t going to make the immune system stronger; our lifestyle and dietary habits will.
Instead of consuming diets high in inflammation-causing and immune system weakening foods – such as dairy, wheat and refined sugar – Dr. Scott recommends that everybody up their levels of fresh, organic vegetables to prevent disease.
